Great call out @Yellow Cake Kid.That makes for an interesting observation. It seems like the 37x12.50R17/D 124R RWL and the 39x13.50R17/D 121R RBL, that are both specified as Tire Weight = 69.49 pounds, are unlikely to be the same weight when measured in the work shop.
Maybe @Discount Tire can make a specific inquiry to find out if the specs listed are accurate.
Good luck.
@Discount Tire , do you have an idea of when the 39x13.50r-17 ko2's will be available?Great call out @Yellow Cake Kid.
I reached out to BFG customer service and the CSR I spoke with confirmed the 69 lbs for both sizes. That being said, it's likely she was referencing the specs outlined on the website.
Once we have a 39x13.50R-17 KO2 available to us, we'll see if we can grab a weight.
They are available now.@Discount Tire , do you have an idea of when the 39x13.50r-17 ko2's will be available?
Currently stock is not available, however I reached out to BFG and the CSR said replacement inventory is in production with an ETA of 10 weeks or sooner.@Discount Tire , do you have an idea of when the 39x13.50r-17 ko2's will be available?
This is awesome to hear and thank you for the support! They are available now.
There were 9 available nation wide until I just ordered 5 of them a few hours ago from Discount Tire.
Also to note, their Website lists them as “OEM” which means these tires come stock on something. Me and the manager couldn’t think of what vehicles has 39s from the factory.
I’ll post pictures and try to get the actual weight while I’m there. It’s the Discount Tire store in Pace, FL.Currently stock is not available, however I reached out to BFG and the CSR said replacement inventory is in production with an ETA of 10 weeks or sooner.
This is awesome to hear and thank you for the support!
I didn't know this size had already launched. Would love to see some pictures after the set is installed. The store should be able to grab a weight for the tire which would be beneficial to this thread.
As for the O.E. designation, I think this may be an error on our end. I too can not think of a vehicle application that comes factory with this size. I'll touch base with our product team to see if they can provide clarity.

Thank you for the update @MARSHMELLA!I’m at Discount Tire right now getting the wheels/tires mounted.
Unfortunately they do not have a weight scale here so I’m not able to confirm their actual weight.
On another note, they do have a new embossed stamp on them that say “Moab Edition”. Maybe that can help solve the mystery of why they made the KO2 in a 39” size???
EDIT:
I just found this article online about the “Moab Edition”. This says they have a new compound that grips better on slick surfaces. Good to know…..
EDIT:
These 39x13.50 KO2s are noticeably less weight than the tires I just replaced them with, which was 39x13.50 KM3s which have been verified to weigh about 89lbs. So these KO2s probably are as they are listed at about 68lbs.
