Let’s see how quickly the aftermarket steps up :)
Fun Havers has already got a stage 1 kit in final testing that will add about 2.5-3" of lift and fit 37's. Stages 2 and 3 will mainly focus on new fiberglass fenders and flares to accommodate 40's. There lift includes a new upper a-arm that allows more ball joint movement.

Here it is in action...

Seen that. Wonder if they will look at lower arm as well 🤷‍♂️

Finally saw my 1st bronco in the wild, and snapped a couple pics...

20210824_132743.jpg

A short while later, I finally saw one out in front of a dealer. My wife, who canceled her reservation, has expressed an interest in still seeing one. I picked her up and headed back there. Due to other cancelations, this dealer had 2 available on the lot. Both black, 1 a Base and the other an Outer Banks. They also have a Wildcat demo that they can't sell for 6 months. This dealer is selling the Base and Outer Banks for $10k over msrp and they have yet to allow anyone to test drive them.

Here's a bunch of pics. I took them before we went inside to get a salesman, so my wife could sit in one. They only let her into the Base. To be polite, I asked if I could snap a couple pics of the interior. The salesman politely refused the request, stating that it's policy set by the GM. Also, after parting ways with the salesman, I pulled my Jeep next to the Wildcat for a side by side shot. But before I could hop out with my phone, the GM (I'm assuming, because it had a dealer plate on it) was quick to come out and move it. And damn did he shoot me a dirty look!

So does the GM ever expect to sell anything with that attitude?

No pics allowed? What the f-ck does that dealer think they have there? A classified next generation Stealth fighter or something? Or maybe they are just embarrassed by the initial quality? I have seen better fitting tops on a chuck wagon. I can only imagine what that top will look like after a season or two?

Ford “leaks” a document to “communicate” that it plans to schedule a recall of the soft tops...as soon as it is done recalling the hard tops... 😫

That's a pretty nice chuck wagon. What size wheels are those?

The components on some sport SXS's are more heavy duty.

I'm glad they rightly destroyed the interior quality on the Bronco. I've seen 10 year old UTVs with nicer interior.

How, the material? I could care less it’s plastic or similar. With top and doors of I want an interior I can hose and wipe off. Show me the 2011 utv with a 12 inch lcd screen.

Design, material, construction, the whole nine yards.

If a guy is buying an off road rig because it's got a 12 inch screen powered by software with a horrendous track record vs. the competitor's 8.4 inch screen with segment-leading software, then maybe we're shopping the wrong vehicle here.

My thoughts exactly! But I haven't any interest in the juice, so I opted to save myself the effort of the squeeze.

If I was driving a lifted 4Runner, we probably would've sung koombaya together. But I drive the "evil nemesis", according to the Ford brainwashing, I mean marketing decisions.

The owner that I saw on the highway had that "here comes my mortal enemy according to ford" look about him, but I gave him a thumbs up and a full handed wave as I passed, and he lightened right up and did the same in return followed by a few horn honks.

I was convinced that I would've been more welcome if I either drove anything else, or at least parked out of sight.

If Ford was successful in one aspect, it was putting a big fat dividing line between the Bronco and Wrangler, specifically.
