I finally got around to wiring up the winch in the bumper I installed a few weeks ago. That let me finally install the synthetic line. Also made a new home for my winch control plug.

Did a simple hack I learned from @Rhinebeck01 a while ago, placed a gun magnet under the oil pan. The factory plug is not magnetic nor is the Fumoto I plan to put on. This magnet helps collecting particles, just remove it right before oil change and it should flush out most metals.

Search "55 lbs gun magnet" on Amazon, they come with a rubber cover so it won't scratch any paint (not that it matters). They are so strong it takes quite some efforts to remove it from the oil pan.

Shiny new stuff :like: . With electro sway bar and skid removed it looks even taller :). Did you switch back to MC sway disconnects? I thought you were running the RKs

The air quality was unhealthy due to forest fire smoke this weekend, so, rather than go hiking, I installed the Warn winch tray, Badlands winch, rotating license plate mount, and blue annodized fairlead that have been sitting in my garage for the last 6 months.

The rotating plate mount seems to work OK. I like the color of the fairlead by itself, but it doesn't compliment the light blue of the tow hooks.
Looks awesome but the flip Up plate is flipping down. When you use the winch the line s going to sit on the plate or holder and could cause problems

I continued work on my Platform for the 2021 jLU Today.
I went with an approximate 15' angle piece to the bottom of sub woofer speaker. Boxing the speaker to help keep the sound from being muffled and trapped under the deck.
Frankly why does a jeep even need one of these? I had a 95 Wrangler with a broken radio and still enjoyed that jeep !

Yeah, it definitely opened up the look of the front, while also increasing the approach angle. I'm now using the supplied Antirock adjustable links at all 4 wheel ends. I previously had Metalcloak links on the rear, but the stock sway bar was hitting the bottom of the frame before the tire could get fully stuffed. I had the shorter pair of Rock Krawler No Limits links in the front, but even fully extended, they weren't quite long enough. I really needed the longer set. Those 2 issues are what set me in the direction of researching the Antirock setups. That's when I started reading about the benefits of having a well balanced front and rear sway system, rather than a relatively stiff rear and a fully disconnected front. More clearance and being able to go from the highway to whatever terrain and back again is icing on the cake.

Have you found anything in your oil after doing this? I just flushed my diffs after a regear and found some small shavings in the front diff, so I’m curious if engine oil shows anything. I’d hope not, but wondering if I just never knew.

I put it on today, so have to wait for next oil change to see if there is anything. But it is only $7, basically a cheap insurance.

I should have done what you did - meaning, waited till the heat and humidity subsided. But NOPE, stupid me, did it all in 95 degree heat inside my oven of a garage. Did bumper, winch, and CMM install… including front struts and sway bar links for my wife’s car. Ugh.
I have 0 sympathy

No, the 4xe Rubicons co.e with the light blue hooks & highlights. "Normal" Rubicons come with red & the 392's come with gold.

I bought the fairlead about 5 months before the Jeep arrived, so had couldn't tell how close the blues were. Actually, I like the fairlead blue better than the hook's blue.
Ahhh i see!! I want to paint mine red lol
