He’s comparing mileage to a diesel? Why doesn’t he compare mpg to the 392? I got 16-17 all day from my 2dr JK rubi in the hwy.

Not surprised by the review, they are not going to be offering lifts since it’s ifs. Too difficult and costly.
"JK" and there is your problem. I get 10mpg with my 3.6L JLUR.

I noticed Dennis kept saying “JK” instead of “JL” at the start of the video. He got better towards the end.

He was comparing the jk to the jl to the Bronco wheel base and basic size.

On road trips through the mountains, where my average speed is about 70, I get 22mpg. 17 up and 28 down.
I got much much better mileage in my 3.6L when I took it to CO to visit family. It's seems to like thinner air. My mpg at or near sea level is 16-18.5 until I get on a highway in AL going 70+. Then it reminds me I'm driving a barn door into the wind

That's like majority of people who bought JL.
Perhaps. I don’t know the exact numbers. I’d surprised if Jeep does.

FWIW, sales figures show that Bronco Sport is cannibalizing into Escape, Edge and EcoSport sales. If that’s any indication, Ford should expect the new Bronco to cannibalize into Explorer, Edge and —given the price point— F150 sales.

Beyond that, Bronco is likely going to attract posers from Land Rover, BMW, Audi and Mercedes. And yes, there will a number of Wrangler owners there, too.

My 375hp/475tq 4xe is averaging 39.9MPG for the first 2K miles. Yes, we charge a lot :)

But still, that 2.3L on mostly highway miles averaged 17mpg on stock wheels/tires/suspension? For people like me that drive mostly city and have a lead foot that means it would be 14mpg. Yikes. My 3.6 FL (8 speed) JL averaged 16.9mpg lifetime with aftermarket wheels, tires, and suspension/lift.

Does it drop to 4 cyl on the hwy? Nice!
19 is what I got with my 12 3.6 2dr Rubi. Dropped to 16/17 at 80/85mph.

There’s a debate on another forum about Bronco tire sizes.

Dennis says in the video (min. 4:27) that his Bronco has 235 tires. He mentally does the math and says it is a 29-inch —which is about right for a 235 tire.

The Ford press releases don’t show tires that small being offered on Bronco —see below.

So who’s right? Is Dennis high, or is Ford overpromising and underdelivering, as usual...?

That Bronco thing has got to be the ugliest vehicle ever made, or maybe it's close 2nd to the Ford Pinto
