It's a long story... dealer stuffed up my factory bumper during towbar install. They were going to replace it with a new one and I requested an upgrade to the ARB bumper. Dealer therefore paid more than half the cost of the ARB one, I think the RRP is just over $1400.

The order was placed towards the end of September but due to covid there were delays and the bumper only arrived mid January.

I decided not to go with the ARB mud flaps, will see how I go with my own solution first.
That’s cool... which dealer? I need to visit them too..

please update once you have an idea on the flaps. I heard it would be illegal putting on arb rear bumper without flaps.

Got a Sport S and replaced the front bumper with ARB and driving lights. Not sure about the rear bumper; waiting to see what else comes out and am in no rush.

Hey mate,

does the rear bar come with the holes for the sensors pre-drilled? Did you have to buy a number plate bracket of did that come in the kit with the rear bar?

Cheers,
Avdo
Hey mate the rear bar didn't come with the sensor holes drilled that was done during fitment and the numberplate kit was from ARB.

If anyone has/is replacing their AU oem rear bar and no longer need the rear fog lights I'm willing to buy them off ya.

Have a busted rear fog on the rear RH side and seems tricky to replace the lens only.

PM me if possible.

Once my JLUR turns up I will have one, it might be a couple of months yet as I don’t have a firm date

Looks good. What is the depth of the ARB bumper, front to back, compared to the factory park bench?

I can't recommend the rear ARB bar, the way it is designed will push it into the panel work.

I have the ARB rear bar, was never my first choice. I personally think the design is undercooked (especially the mud flaps add-on kit, which feels really cheap and disconnected from the look).

I have a spare Stryker rear bar and relocation bracket that is for sale.

I was going to install it but then went with the aev rear bar with fuel caddy and tyre holder.

I read about issues with bumpers that get pushed up into the car body, and I believe both the Stryker and aev don't have this issue.

I don't remember, mainly because I don't want to know, but it was from quadratec and expensive shipping. Plus they charge more for the little corner pieces that go from the bumper up to the guard. The tyre caddy does give an extra 40L which is good.
