Is jeep going to do something for people don’t get the golden tailgate tag?

I think all the JK rubicon recon tags said 4.10 gears even for the ones that had 3.73. I dont really understand the tags to begin with
It's a throwback all the way to the 40s. This is from a '52 that I keep on my garage wall.

Just wondering, when you drill out the rivets if they fall into the gate, is there access to get in there and retrieve them? Don’t need to introduce a rattle making the change

I’m lost, what’s everyone bitching about again?

EDIT: ohhhhh some of you got the silver tag instead of the gold tag. That sucks lol That golden one looks badassary

Someone on this forum that has a 392 & silver tag is going to demand a buy back lol bet

Lol, I'd love to see the gold one in person. I honestly thought they were saying that their Jeeps were delivered without a tag at all. Was I wrong? So this is just about the color?

color and information are wrong, fording depth, not having 392 and there are no 2 door 392s

Looking back, I'm now seeing it is more than just gold vs. silver. It appears to be 30" of water fording vs. 32.5 with the gold tag.

Now I'm pissed. Now I have to swap out the tag so that I can go into water that is 2.5" deeper. What a pain!

And thanks @Bluewaveaudio for clarification! Everyone should realize that if they correct this you will now have a serious collectors item. Not just the plate, but the whole Jeep! This is the kind of stuff that boost the price years later at Barrett-Jackson and Mecum auctions!

I'm ot a 392 owner or even have desires for one.

However, if there is a 392 specific badge or plate, and 392's are being shipped without them...I would be a bit chubbed. Jeep should fix this. 392's come at a premium price, and should have premium oversight.

OP looked like a 392 plate, complete with 4 doors and no pic of a 2 door. So I'm still trying to figure out what the problem was with the pic on the original post.

I took the OP's pic to be an example of what he didn't get. Perhaps I am confused?

Im assuming he got the silver jl badge (like i did) instead of the correct 392 gold badge (which is what he posted a pic of).

My question is... instead of having jeep remove my incorrect badge and replace it with the gold 392 badge.... should I keep the incorrect badge in place and ask for the gold 392 badge to be attached elsewhere? Like a collectable mis-printed penny? Will it be even cooler to have a 392 w the incorrect and correct badge? 🤔
