On the Tailgate there is a plate showing jeep info, The 392 should have a golden colored model specific plate. Mine and apparently several others do not. Mine is just standard silver JL and has the wrong info on it.

Just swapped the longer lower control arm. Local dealer actually has them in stock, $43 a piece. Took me 20 minutes to do it and the difference is day and night.
Also I’m glad I had the “right” plate.

Unbelievable that they can't get the tailgate tag right. Also can't believe that the higher Rubicon's and 392's still get the same lower control arms as the lower height Sports and Saharas...

Interesting. Maybe using higher springs on xtreme recon for differentiation from standard rubicon. So did they effectively “lower” the std ‘21 Rubicon ride height? Hmmmmm.......

easy to play with existing parts for them
Though I haven’t measured, I think it appears it is compared to others AND it has towing, hardtop, and steel bumpers. I think they may have lowered them a bit.

You motivated me to get off my but and get mine ordered. I placed a order online for them both for $80.41 delivered. For some odd reason a few hours later I received a e-mail saying they were canceling the order per my request. WTH? Don't know what that is about. Guess I will check with the dealer this morning see if they have any in stock. If so I will throw them on today.

There were only a certain number of Golden Plates. They get you in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.

How funny that you say that, and even funnier is how many dealers say that no matter what the issue is. I was even told by the Jeep Service Manager that you can not put 35"s on a Rubicon, and proceeded to take him into the showroom and show him the big poster showing a Rubicon being able to wear a set of 35`s right from the factory

When you tell them something that they do not know, based on their look and further questioning they proceed to say that they remember that but it slipped their mind. Like the first JL`S having a second battery under the main battery, or the Jeep Easter Eggs like the dead pedal having Morse code on it
