Oh probably...but I doubt that they would come back out which would mean I would need to open the wall up to find the damn thing again.

Yes, definitely. The house backs up to some woods. Before the snakes were introduced into the house, I had mice...used to have traps set all over the house and would catch 2 or 3 a month. Since the snakes have lived here...no mice! not even any signs of them. LOL...I am good with those results.
