It would make a good commuter for sure. Honda would have that thing with a DCT nowadays. I think the NC750X is the closest you'll get in a New Honda here in the US. We only get the "Adventure" version instead of the standard bike.

I don't mind the cvt in the dn-01 I was also lookin at, but I've never been on an auto bike at all. It sounds nice for the stop and go parts of my commute, but it's far from a must have. The DN-01 is 5k, and has no built in storage though. So, double the price, and I'd have to purchase accessories right off the bat.
Also why I didn't consider any of the scouts, night trains, choppers, shadows, Vulcans, or rebels I looked at.

hahaha almost! Was a good ride, and was nice not being the trail guide for once. Guy running it wasn’t the best so it was slow but fun nonetheless
The orange rubi got spotted bad and ended up sliding into a tree taking the turn signal out

The hyosung gv650 is also slick as a mofo too. (I may have a soft spot for sport cruisers)

Oh, I'm aware.
With my feet/ankle issues, I'll probably eventually have to get one. I'm hoping the shifter on a newer bike (remember my bike is a 76) won't feel like I'm tearing/breaking my foot when I shift.

With my feet/ankle issues, I'll probably eventually have to get one. I'm hoping the shifter on a newer bike (remember my bike is a 76) won't feel like I'm tearing/breaking my foot when I shift.

Need a Jockey Shifter then, I've seen a few of these around Lejeune. Its highly possible the guys I saw on them were amputees.

Yeah that NM4 was a funky looking machine!

Great riding position (for me at least), and lots of built in storage. I really like it, but I prefer the looks on the DN-01.
Also, the passenger seat is the extended back rest for the driver. It flips up.
