Installed my EZ-Window. Really a great product! Going on a roadtrip beginning of August and figured it would be easier with luggage.

Are you serious? I didn’t know that was a thing. Very nice!!! It’s on the list. This forum is killing me.

Do you have a link?

I would normally just throw it over onto the top and put it back when done but may have to check this out if it’s easier to open and close.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Dirty Jeeps just mean some fun was had. The best!
A lot of fun was had...... Many hours of work and the Jeep is back to being pretty again.

Drove it out to the park where we do hiking with weighted packs.

Installed the Genesis Offroad Dual Battery kit with Odyssey batteries in my 2019 JLUR 3.6L today. The auxiliary battery has failed twice already, both times leaving me stuck in busy intersections and needing a tow to the dealer. My winch, ARB twin compressor, and two sets of BD lights are now connected directly to the accessory battery. Still need to go back and do some major wire management and clean things up, but it got too hot this afternoon.

I've been curious how these work. Does the window attach the same way it always does, but you just have the hydraulics to hold it up when you lift it, or does it change how it is attached all together?
@jeepster345 I had a similar question. I take my top off a lot. Is it easy to remove and reinstall?

I take my top off a lot too and it’s not that big of a deal. It has two clips on the tailgate retainer bar that you pinch to remove the struts. Takes like 5 seconds.

Yeah the window attaches the same way. Only thing that’s added is the two arms. They’re not hydraulic, so you have to lift it up a little higher, so the arms pop out and lock in place. The instructions required to little holes to be poked at the top of the window edges tight. The arms attach to the tailgate retainer with mounting brackets that slide in the retainer, no drilling required. The window is easily removable, only requiring two little clips being squeezed.

Here’s some pictures showing the clips and holes on the window.

Thanks for the info; very helpful. My first thought was that doesn't really make a big difference from just tossing the window onto the top. But then I thought of doing that in the rain and maybe snow, and I see the benefit.

That’s also kinda what I thought. Not much of a difference, but I’m a little particular with my Jeep and it was a good excuse to get something for it. :CWL:
