Jeep Guru's..

Think I screwed up.. and didn't compare numbers.

I have these current part numbber in my Stock Jeep Unlimited Sport S.

LF: 3658AD RF: 3659AD
LR: 3587AA RR: 3588AA

Purchased a allegedly 2021 JLUR take off suspension with following part numbers

3658AD / 3659AD
AND
3589AA / 3590AA

Along with the rubicon shocks and the Mopar LCA';s.. longer ones.

My question is..
Looks like the new springs are similar to what's in my Jeep except for back springs.

Will this net me a little lift and better ride?

Or should i scrap the whole project..

I'm new to the JL market.. TJ's were much easier..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your suspicions are correct. Those look like Sahara spring numbers. Afraid they won't add much lift to your Sport (maybe 0.25" - 0.5" rear)

I would also verify your shock and mopar lift LCA part numbers. If those are correct, then all you need are Rubicon springs.

Use this list for reference. I grabbed it from another thread.

Thank you.. Damn.. may just have them put in suspension w/ the lower LCAs' to fix the wandering issue.
Little lift is better than no lift.

Not worth your time or money for those springs I’m afraid, hopefully it was an honest mistake, but somehow I doubt it.

I agree. Those springs are not worth the time/money to install.

For reference, I installed front 59/60 and rear 90/91 (plus 0.75" front leveling spacers) which added 1.5" all around.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
You could put the rear springs on and get extra spacers all around w/ slightly taller spacers in front, something like a 1.5" front spacer and 3/4" rear spacers, this should net a decent lift all around. Only downside is you wouldn't get the added spring travel of truly taller springs. If you didn't pay too much you still got the shocks, a pair of springs (that you can use) and those LCAs (be sure to verify the part #s on those too).

BTW, this is a pretty easy install, if you were planning to take it to a shop I'd give this thread a look, might save you decent coin and get more acquainted w/ your Jeep in the process :) Post #4 is for the LCAs too

Those are likely legitimate. I expected differently when running my VIN on our 2nd JLU, a Rubicon and it seems common now for the lower numbers to be installed. I thought our Rubicon looked a hair low…. because it is. I think it’s an effort to reduce drivability complaints (more caster) while providing just enough fender clearance with the stock KO2’s while fully articulated.

Is this just your speculation based on your experience with your latest JLUR, or is there another source for it? I'm asking because it is common for people, especially on places like Craigslist, to sell anything taken off of a Wrangler as "from a Rubicon" because of the premium the badge brings. This has been an issue for a long time. Your thought that Rubicons are suddenly coming from the factory with softer springs is something I haven't seen before today (in another thread that referenced this one). I'm curious if it's true, and if so, if it's widespread.

Just purchased 2021 JLUR take off's for my sport from my local 4x4 shop and was told to expect 1-2 inches of lift. These are the part numbers they sent me home with.

Springs are 659AD/658AD & 587AA/588AA with 68509431AB/68509434AA for the shocks.

Will this net any lift on my JL Sport w/tow? It currently has stock 109/110 & 228/229 springs installed.
