Sam, What did you do to fit the 40's on besides wider wheels with offset? Are you running the stock gearing and what kind of mileage are you getting?
Stock gearing. Around 12-13 around town.

Forgive me if you have already mentioned this, but what changes did you make, if any, to the coil springs, sway bar links, control arms, etc.? Thanks!
2.5” spacer kit. Sway bar links. Nothing else. Drives GREAT.

Got it. Do you think you will change to longer coil springs at some point?

Not at this time. I am really happy with the ride and it is still “low” enough. We will use the 392 for “moderate” wheeling. Mostly exploring. Any hard core stuff is left to the JK and SXS.

No reason to beat the 392 when we don’t have to. It is such a kick to drive.

Yeah, definitely skid plates. Low profile oil pan drain bolt too.
Did you get the XR package?

No I did not. Okay I will add both of these to my list. No major rock crawling but anywhere it can take me and my Turtleback Getaway trailer to. The trailer has the Icon suspension system. I may eventually add an Icon system to the Jeep as well, but that wouldn't be for awhile. Not sure if they even have one for the weight of the 392 yet.

The oil pan drain bolt would be a no brainer for sure then.

Sounds like you got it mostly covered.

Sweet!! Thank you. Just ordered it. Just a little body armor and I should have everything. I really want to do the Expel but 6 grand?
For 6 grand it isn't worth it to me. It might be worth it to you.
