Can't wait to hear your assessment of that floor covering!
You win the prize. Of all the random extra parts to find underneath the seat. The weird thing is that it’s never slid out or made any noise in 2 and a half years. I unbolted and raised the seat to install my compressor under there and never saw it. Weird.A hood latch? Free extra parts from the factory I assume.
We need to see it with this. I may be copying you if it helps noise.

They must have known your most excellent build involved so much hood activity that you'd wear out the original latch. That's too funny! You win the prize. I’m going to do a layer or 2 of spray on Boom Mat under the flooring so I presume it will quiet things down a lot. It better.
Hope the ( other hood latch) is under the hood. HahaA hood latch? Free extra parts from the factory I assume.

Nice! Let us know how the Armorlite install and fit is. Been considering it.Got the spray on Boom Mat in today. Got it sprayed on, giving it a day to fully dry. I’ll install the Armorlite tomorrow. Even though Armorlite said it was OK, I felt better after putting some vacuum caps on the carpet retention studs sticking up in the floor.
I just finished installing it last night around dark. I’ll report back with thoughts after taking a road trip this weekend.Nice! Let us know how the Armorlite install and fit is. Been considering it.
My set is on the way! Thanks for confirming the functionality CT! Cost was significantly better than I thought it would be, too.7/9/2021 35,565 miles
I had my 3W Liners 4-door window control module installed at a Jeep Slop Shop in Kemah today. It seems to be working as it should. Very happy with it.
