I’ve seen some threads before but I can never find someone who is in my situation.
I have a 2 door JL sport s, exactly stock, nothing added.
Just bought this Mopar 2" Lift Kit with Fox Shocks and having some buyers regret, after seeing some spring bend and rubbing issues on here, due to the track bar not being adjustable.

My question: For off-roading will I need to buy an adjustable track bar in order to make this specific lift kit work and actually feel the benefit or will I be okay as is. Have I bought a faulty lift kit?

I installed the Mopar 2" lift on 2 vehicles and most recently my 2021 Rubicon Diesel. It is a good kit and it works very well. The spring bow is necessary to clear the frame and bump stop tubes (use the spring perches that came in the kit as they are set up to allow the bow). I had bought the RK perches and they'd not allow any bow and the springs hit the frame and jounce bumper tubes so that was a mistake (and RK even said their perches were only designed for their springs when I contacted them on the phone). I got my Mopar kit for $1245, added an RK adjustable track bar because I wanted the axle perfectly centered but you don't really need it. Added a track bar bracket in the rear to adjust the rear axle track (again not absolutely necessary). And I bought cam bolts for the lower control arms to get the castor at 6.5 degrees as that makes the Jeep track so much better. Total cost for everything $1545
IMO I really don't think there is a kit for $1545 that is really magnitudes better than the Mopar kit but I am sure 15 people will comment that this is absolutely not true (oh well, my opinion).
Love the road manners and off road capability. Totally happy with the set up.

I have the Mopar 2-inch lift on my 4-door Sahara.

My understanding is the spring bowing issue appeared on the original version of the lift, and was subsequently rectified with redesigned mounts. All I know is my Sahara does not have the bowing problem.

I added a Yeti adjustable trackbar. The reason is less for off-roading but that the front axle is hard to center after the lift with the OE trackbar, regardless of being on-road or off.

My dealer had a special - the lift and installation for $2,000; so I had them do it. Then I took the Jeep for an alignment and had them install the adjustable track bar. The Jeep drives great on and off-road.

So far I do not have any Spring bow with my Mopar lift. Not at 500 miles yet. Time will tell but I also was told Mopar new engineered lifts 2021 fixed bow issue.

I got my lift in December 2020: the spring mounts had been redesigned already.

The current part number for the Mopar lift for a 4-door V6 shows as 77072395AE. The E at the end of the part number indicates that there have been four prior versions of the lift. Every time there’s a change/redesign, Mopar updates the last letter of the part number.

E.g.:

77072395AA
77072395AB
77072395AC
77072395AD
77072395AE

Yes, this was my part number but for the 2.0 Turbo. 77072430AE 4 Door

One thing that everyone who has a non-Rubicon needs to understand is that the lift is 2" on a Rubicon. On most other models, except diesels, the lift is going to be about 3.5". This means that you will need an adjustable track bar and possibly lower control arms. It's been discussed many times here, but Jeep keeps advertising it as a 2" without any further explanation.

The Mopar lift includes longer arms. It does not include an adjustable track bar, however.

I had to get a Yeti adjustable track bar. Man that thing is beefy!

@Roky showed me where to measure my Mopar 2.0 lift. Stock Rubicon lift is 11.0"/11.25"

After my Mopar lift it showed 14.5" for my lift. I put the doors and top back on today and the lift went down to almost 14" I am just going round off.

So with the Mopar 2.0 it really lifted my 2021 Rubicon 3.0" to 3.25"

The Mopar 2.0 lift is lot higher then you would think on the Rubicon.

I think it's a catch all lift. It's not matched to any particular vehicle configuration. You get what you get.

The Mopar lift has different part numbers for the 2-door, 4-door, 2.0T, V6 and EcoDiesel.

I’m sure there will be different ones for 4Xe and 392.

I just know they have different part number's for different engine's. Mine was for the 2.0 Turbo.

Really not sure why the different ones for different engines.

I heard Mopar has already engineered lifts for 4Xe and maybe 392.

Yeah. It wouldn’t surprised me. I think I’ve seen lifted 4Xes already.

Different engine weight -> different springs rates and shocks.

The Mopar lift on my JL is 100 times better than that I had on any of my JKs. Everything feels more dialed it, on and off-road.
