Just another tip before I depart...

When Jeeping, like Skiing... always remember to take time to pick a GOOD line when descending a hill, that’s half the battle.

Water is a little cold though... not great for swimming, but the fishing is good.

The Discovery was proof you do not want fancy modes to drive in the dunes. Every time you get above like 35 mph it drops the air suspension. Took us hours to figure out how to turn it off. The old school defenders did just fine.

Yeah, we did a bit of rock n trail and some silty sand in Northern Nevada and California with our LR3. I liked the air raised suspension, but 19" wheels gave us few tire options.

If that was from Harvey, that was a low water level compared to what some tried to drive though. Still no huge mountain to fall off of...

Speaking of being a cool aunt, I’m super excited to take my dollies to one of my colleges next weekend for a huge innovation & creativity festival they have every year!

My eldest niece, the future NASA girl, is already planning on a two week programming camp at the college this summer.
