I admit I'm interested in finding out whether Ford will get the final drive gearing right with the manual. Jeep really should have put 4.10s with the 3.6 and 6-speed. The 3.45s just rob the fun from the whole driving experience. On the highway anyway. On the trail, come to think of it, it doesn't really bother me anymore. I just go to 4-low sooner than I ever have with any other 4WD, and drive around all day with a 3-speed.There is just something that is so connected and raw you can only get in a manual. Let's hope Ford sets it right and gets the kitted out options on the manuals rather than relegating them to second class transmissions.
