I've only had experience with Carvana, and it wasn't good.2019 Jeep two door Rubicon. Pretty much all the options. 5900 miles.
This was done online:
Carvana offer 36,800
Vroom offer 42,200
Why such a huge difference? The obvious choice is Vroom, but if you look online, what you read ain't too pretty. Anyone have any insights on any of this type of buyback?
Last September, I sold my 2009 Toyota RAV4 in preparation for buying the new Wrangler I'm now driving. Went to the Carvana website and input all the info. They offered me a lowball figure of $2500, "pending inspection in Vernon, TX"
WTH!!?
I'm in a city of over half a million, and they want me to drive 400 miles to a small town of 11000 for an "inspection." I carefully maintain my vehicles and keep them clean, inside and out.
They're nuts.
I put it on Craigslist for $5 and listed it at $7500 and sold it the next day to the first one who drove it.
Carvana? No thanks.
