What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Considering installing the same. Please post reaction with it when you have some driving impressions.

So I now have enough time driving with both firm and medium settings. I like the firm for highway use but not city streets, it seems like it is slow to rebound like molasses steering on firm. The medium setting works great in the streets and better than stock on the highway. I have not tried the soft on road and probably will not.

Looks good. I gave up on tint here in NY. I don't qualify for a medical tint exemption and it doesn't make sense to strip and re-apply every year in order to pass state inspection.

I understand the struggle.

-Test fitted the fuel carrier plate
-Cleaned, primed and painted plate
-Sorted through my shed stock to source stainless T30 bolts and nyloc nuts for the RotopaX mounting plate. (isn't it great when you can do that?)
-Cut bolts to size with my favorite Dremel attachment
-Dressed newly cut bolts with sanding drum (because OCD)
-Buttoned everything up
-Enjoyed some leftover sweet & sour chicken with rice

My new ARB Rock Sliders arrived safe and sound, ARB had them well packed and strapped to a HD wood pallet. Now to remove my Jeep Performance Rock Rails w/step assist and install the new ARB's. Will take my time and make sure everything fits perfectly both sides-no real need to hurry as my new UD44 will not even ship till the first week of July...

Just one of many mods to complete as my JLR sits on jack stands awaiting a new UD44 front axle...

I made a pair of front lower adjustable links. I’ve had the 2” DOM and 1 1/4” rod ends laying around for the last 10 years, just had to buy the high misalignment bushings and the urethane bushings. I‘ll add another 1* of castor and see if the steering Improves? It’s already pretty good, but I think it could be better.

Installed a pair of Rancho differential guide plates. Also installed an electric hoist for hardtop removal.

Installed the Rigid 360 series 6" spot lights with amber backlights. I wired the backlighting into the fog light wire so whenever the fog lights come on the amber backlighting will come on and wired the main spot lights into the auxiliary switch 2. There are no issues tapping into the LED fog light wire if anyone is wondering about doing this with backlighting lights.

Had some spare time so I reversed the paint scheme on my KC stone guards. Today I put them back on Jeep.

Installed a manual hardtop lift in the garage. Made taking the hardtop off much easier last night during a quick dry run.

@pixeldecals is the go to source, excellent materials and customer service. I had the wolf windshield chaser, hood graphic (still waiting to be installed) as well as the hood “Name” graphics for the other half’s. My hood graphic is a topo decal. Here is a pic of the name graphics for the other one with the topo graphic under them.

Took her on a drive with the top down to enjoy a break in the rain. Well the ESS warning light came on with the service ESS message. Get to where I was going and pulled codes with JScan. Battery B circuit fault. Figured the AUX battery probably was on its way out.

Anyway popped the hood to take a look, and noticed the battery ground was loose. So I ended up tightening that up and said well guess I should look at the fuses, yup every fuse and relay was loose. I had never looked at them since I got it. Funny it took 32k for something to manifest.

Cleared the code with JScan and it and it has stayed off since.
