Help With Order Status Codes

Hi All,

My 2013 2-door JK was T-boned by a semi truck that ran a red light last month. Needless to say it was totaled. I have ordered a JLU Rubicon to replace it and am in "C" Status. I have a VON but no VIN yet. Can someone share the steps through the process and what each letter code means? Thanks for your help!

Hi Neighbor,
I can help with some of it. Right now timing of how long you are in one code varies.

Jeep Factory Codes

Edited with the some of the codes in case anybody is curious.:

Scheduled

C - tentative schedule
D - firm schedule: serial number is assigned.
D1 - gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned

Build
E - framing
F - paint
G - trim

Built
I - unit is pending final inspection
J - vehicle has passed final inspection, but has not been released to carrier
JB - shipped to body vendor
JE - shipped to emissions
JJ - consigned body vendor
JS - shipped to storage
KZ - released by plant and invoiced

And what does second rail departure mean? I'm assuming rail = train, but what about "second rail"? Does it mean it went from one train system to another train system?
