Hello to all,

With this version, does putting the "camera back" function as a shortcut work for you (I set it to "SET-") ?

On my old version 11.2.5 yes on this 11.2.7 not, I doubt I did something wrong, have you tried?

Thank you for your findings

Second question, do you also have, with the new option "Brake Hold" set to "ON", at each press even light the brakes that remains blocked. OK, that's the idea of this function, but it is specified "with a firm press of 2 seconds", either I have a "firm" press all the time, or the setting is much too sensitive!
For the moment I leave on "OFF" because not usable (for me) in this state. On the other hand (my English is not good) if I understand, by putting on "OFF" it is not possible any more to have the function "Anchor Mode" which seems to me very interesting.

Your opinions would be very useful, thank you :like:

EDIT :
Confirmation from Zautomotive, the problem "Camera back" indeed a bug

EDIT 2 :
In answer to my question, Zautomobile confirms that to have the "Anchor Mode" function, you have to set the "Brake Hold" function to "ON".

Since I don't like this braking (Brake Hold) at all, I will do without the "Anchor Mode". I managed to do without it until now, so I'll continue like this. Too bad though.

EDIT 3 :
The new version 11.2.8 fixes the steering wheel shortcuts problem as explained in my message. Thanks to ZAutomotive for fixing the problem quickly. Just before I go back to version 11.2.5

@SwissSteph

Off topic, but I would like to once again THANK YOU very much for doing all the lets call it footwork / finding the SGW Extension Cable that most all Tazer JL owner's using same are absolutely thrilled with.

YOU and only you went on a search for such a cable and found an automotive assembler/supplier for same in China. This was not the easiest task at all.

Joe, at ZAutomotive after being told of your find, (you posted you had found a co. to make up the cable) started immediately buying hundreds of the SGW Extension Cables from the China company and selling the cable on the ZAutomotive website.

Not many Tazer JL owner's know this tidbit I mention.

For me this function works as always, like on the 11.2.5

Not sure what is wrong, it won't remember. Should I try and re-flash the firmware?
I am not a specialist.

But before I reflashed, I would connect my Tazer to the software and see what it displays as a version, and then I would reflasher.

Then "full reboot" and two cycles as explained in the manual

Shouldn't need a reboot after updating, unless the Tazer was unmarried and changes need to be made again. Also, Auto Stop/Start memory is a live function that requires no setting. The Tazer, when connected, simply remembers the state of the on/off button for Auto Stop/Start.

maybe the Tazer “forgot” the settings when reflagged? Maybe need to drive around and cycle the feature on and off a few times, waiting a minute or two between changes.

The only change I made was to the third break light flashing. It was never unmarried. I just unplugged it, flashed the n plugged back in.

I would reach out to Z-Automotive. Send a text to 631-533-3363.

Anybody have slow response from support? I sent a text early this am and haven't had a response yet. I am new to the tool and I would much rather have a person to talk to than text, have a feeling I need a lot of hand holding.....
