Delays in production/delivery to Ontario, Canada

10 weeks and we got a VIN!!!
I’m so excited to get our Willy’s but have a feeling I’m in for a huge let down.
Anyone in Canada know how long after receiving a VIN is the vehicle actually delivered?

I got my VIN April 5th and I have a ship date of May 7th……TOMORROW!!!

Congratulations! What letdown are you expecting?

I dunno , shipping issues , global trucking shortage you name it ... could be anything at this point , it’s a 2020 \ 2021 thing.

I got my VIN April 5th and I have a ship date of May 7th……TOMORROW!!!

Maybe mine will be on the same shipment hahaha. One can dream.

Technically I ordered mine on April 17th - but the VIN was already available.

I ordered in Nov 2020 - got a VIN within a week. Radio silence until this morning when the cryptotracker pulled a build sheet. Not sure on the delivery now.

I was about to pull the plug next week but looks like it should be shipped soon.

Congrats! Mine shipped the same day my build sheet popped up on Crypto. Fingers crossed yours is on the way!

Likely not. From all that I've seen for Canadian orders, the build sheet populates on Crypto before they arrive at the dealership.

They just say be patient FCA is behind on fabrication.
Originally I was told it would be 6 weeks.
Well it is going to be 12.
I am so pissed off with FCA treating us as second class.
Why do our American cousins get them so fast?

On Crypto, it’s showing “build not found” but if I click on that the full build sheets show up with all the correct options ect.
so... does this mean it’s built ? Sorry if it’s a dumb question

Just got an update from my dealer!! May 7th Build Date! Ordered March 11th. Build sheet above

I feel for you. I know being patient really sucks. I laugh when our American cousins complain that theirs take a month to arrive.
I'm kind of in the same boat as you. Ordered a JLU HA 15weeks ago today. Still no VIN.
Not much we can do but play the waiting game.
It's a shame that there seems to be little to no communication between FCA and their Canadian Dealers and no way for us, the Canadian consumer, to get that information.
US Jeep Chat and US Customer Service tells us to contact Canadian CS. CAD CS then tells us to contact our Dealer. Our Dealer has very little info to begin with so it's a nasty runaround.
It really sucks to be treated as a secondary market but it is what it is.

Ordered March 11th. VIN April 5th and Ship date of May 7th but it still hasn't shipped according to the CASSEN site. They show an order to ship it but no dates as of today.

I too am done with the whole process, ready to cancel. Placed deposit on a manual Willys on February 8th, which was supposedly already in the queue. Was told at that time that it would be on the lot April or May. Now, over 3 months later the dealer still has no idea when it will be built/shipped...very little communication. No alternative stock around either. Plus interest rates are up and the 5% discount eliminated. Crappy situation overall.

As someone who ordered March 31, I hope I'm wrong, but I'm going to hazard you're the exception to the rule...
