37’s with KMC Mesa wheels. Gears are scheduled for Thursday but they don’t have the parts yet so that may get pushed back.

No pictures, but I yanked that trash can out from under the back of my Jeep, and installed the Flowmaster muffler delete pipe. Getting the new pipe on was a big pain, but I finally got there after I heated it up. Then I struggled for at least an hour to reinstall this one bolt in the exhaust hanger bracket. Seriously?

It was a good way to go. I couldn't see spending a ton on a cat back for a V6. I wanted some sound, but nothing to rattle the windows, and I wanted to avoid sounding like a ricer. I'd say mission accomplished on all fronts. What it lacks in sounding really throaty and deep it makes up for by being really cheap and simple. It does seem kind of silly to put the Flowmaster branding on this thing though. I'm sure every other brand of muffler delete pipe sounds just like this one. Not a lot of sound engineering here.

Decided not to leave well enough alone, and did the rear view mirror upside-down flip for about 0.75” less obstructed forward visibility. As expected, both the ball joint and mirror stem popped out when I applied enough pressure to turn it past the trim above. Ball joint went back in easy enough, but getting the stem aligned at just the right angle without pinching the wires, using just the right amount of upward force, while also twisting 90 degrees in the bracket at just the right moment was a real MF’er. Am 100% sure I looked like an idiot wrestling with/swearing at the mirror for 15 mins, but it’s done, I’m glad to have a sliver of extra visibility, and am just dumb enough that if I had it to do over again - yes I would.

HAHA. I did that 'mod' before I ever left the lot when I got the new JL. Drove all the way home with it dangling, had to tell the wife that I already broke my new toy.

This arrived today all the way from the USA. Where do I start? I think I will read the online instructions first and update the software before plugging it into the Jeep.

You'll like this little thing if you plan to use it for multiple features.

There are plenty of topics, answers to questions, etc. > > > here.

Installed successfully! I only changed tire size and tire pressures. Did a reboot and all is good.
Can I unplug the Tazer and plug the connectors back in its original plugs or do I have to leave the Tazer plugged in?

You can do either or. If you want access to the live features you’ll have to leave it in. I leave mine in as I hate the auto start and stop and also use the rubicon features. If you don’t plan to use those features and don’t have any issues with the auto start stop, you can disconnect and reconnect the cables back in the security thing.

So after wheeling this weekend, as I pulled in my back yard I heard a clunk. So after tracking it down I found this......

After taking it off and oiling up what I could and not finding anything wrong . I decided on this fix....... now it’s still in testing but so far it’s working great. If it’s on it’s way out , then I want it to go quietly...... 😁

Great looking rig, I love the poke look. When wheeling its nice to see your tire placement.
