Has anyone had any trouble with putting 34s on stock suspension? I have a Willys and wanted meatier tires, I was also wondering will I notice a huge difference between c and e load rating tires? I current have the stock Firestone destination m/t2

You should get rid of those ASAP!!! I have no other opinions on tyres. Other than maybe, yes.

I’m interested if you got the 285/75/17’s and still running stock sport springs, rubicon shocks only come on Willys. I put rubicon springs on and considering going from 285/70/17 to 285/75/17, about 1” taller.

Hello! Yes, I am running 285/75/17s no issue, I upgraded my fenders to rubi take offs and that has helped with more clearance, never had any issues with clearance, just like the more open wheel well look. I attached two pictures one is stock fenders with 285/75/17s, the other is with rubi fenders, same tire size and 1.5” spacers

Thanks. Do you happen to have a side photo after the spacer and fender installs completed along with part numbers of the take off fenders?

I’m running 285/75r17 on stock sport. No issues at all daily driving. Off-road you may get a little rub. I’ve rubbed inner fender exactly once while backing up an incline at a sharp angle. Wheels are 17x9, +12mm offset

Very helpful, thanks. Have you considered spacers or a rubicon take off suspension?

Not a great picture. I am not sure on part numbers, I actually bought them off of someone. I bought the LEDs DRLs separate and took the halogen lights out of the rubicon fenders and put the LEDs in!

Yes. I’ve searched a bit for a small lift. Been a little challenging to find take offs here locally and all the other options - it’s a bit overwhelming.. also trying to pick out colors and style for leather seats.. those may come first.

This is mine with a rubicon suspension riding on 285/70/17. I plan to go 285/75/17 in the future, possibly also add a small coil spacer lift.

Yep. That looks good! And looks like it sits pretty level too. Those generals look nice as well. Are you happy with them?

Yes, minimal rake if any and the ATx’s are performing solid. They are a huge upgrade over the stock m/t’s especially in the snow. Depending on the lift height you want, ide consider a rubicon take off suspension.

Looks good! Those are the stock Willys wheels, right? Do you have any issues with rubbing or getting into 8th gear? I'm also considering 285/75/17 (along with standard 285/70/17) to replace my stock Destination M/Ts. I have a Rubi take off suspension/fenders already.
