A nice rescue German Sheppard might solve the issue...and give a nice critter a home at the same time.

Try the tin foil trick. You just have to make your seat undesirable. I'm a cat owner, and I'm guessing the little guy/girl probably just likes the fact that your seat in your door-less jeep is a perch high up from danger and they get a nice view. Whatever you do, please try not to harm the cat :)

The amount of grown men who think murdering a cat who just wants a perch to sleep on in this thread is sad. Imagine your masculinity being threatened so heavily because every animal isn’t a Doberman pincher or German Shepard 😂😂 kinda embarrassing you can’t think of a solution besides killing it

I was wondering what the responses would be.
Thread did not disappoint.
My cats like to sleep on the soft top...if I leave it down, they go inside. I've had luck with the windows off as long as the top is up. But you're pretty brave to leave it doorless. Short of standing guard with a squirt gun or automated turret, I would just put the doors on and consider it a daily workout.

A friend of mine uses coyote urine in a spray bottle on his tulips to keep the animals( squirrels) from eating them. I would imagine it would also work with cats. If you sprayed small satchels and hung them in the jeep each night or from the door-less hinges. A quick google will produce where to purchase.

I had the same problem with cats in my Jeep at night. I also have the same trap as shown here. I put the trap in the Jeep with a can of tuna. The next morning cat in the trap. Took the cat for a little drive .. problem solved.
