Conversely if the quoted 13 second is with the limiter, simply turning it off would make it a low to mid 12 second jeep.
Not sure the math is even possible to make a 13 second quarter mile at less than 100 mph.

Low to mid 12s in the 1/4 mile equates to 3.6 to 3.8 second 0-60. Jeep quotes 4.5 0-60.

Ram quoted the trx at 4.5 seconds 0-60 and 12.9s 1/4 mile. Car and driver in actual testing did 3.7s 0-60 and 12.3s in the 1/4 at 110mph. I'm not saying the 392 will do it, but without real world testing who knows how accurate the estimates are?

I get that...I have a couple of BMWs and BMW is a company that is notorious for underreporting their acceleration and power figures.

Maybe I misunderstood you, but I just do not see why Jeep would advertise a quarter mile time that was capped by the speed limiter.

If they are testing it in production trim, they shouldn't be turning off the limiter? It is only available as a Rubicon and therefore every one of then leaving the factory will be limited at 100mph, it would be dishonest to test it modified.

I agree with what you say about it being dishonest to test it modified. However, if they keep the limiter in place, then the 392 Wrangler will hit its 99mph limit well before it crosses the finish line. It will be cruising at 99mph for quite some time. That does not make sense either. Maybe they shouldn't advertise a 1/4 mile time. Just a 0-60 time.

Problem solved !Goodyear Wrangler Territory all-terrain tires sized 325/65R-17 has a speed rating of 118 mph . Unfortunately the tires do not come out until the Bronco hits the open market. Now hack the limiter.... I think a 35" tire might work with the 3.73 gears. I might have to change out to 4.27 gearing , but that's Jeeping! 20K gets me DANA 60' Front 80'S in the rear and with a little mods to the transfer case programing , I can go from 2wd to 4wd just like the old Jeep's! come on baby!

I don't know man...I wouldn't trust a Wrangler to go that fast unless it was dead straight. Even the gentlest of curves would make me nervous.

Dune grapplers are available in a 315/70r17 with a 118 mph rating also.

Perhaps it’s like the aborted run on Top Fueler where they coast over the finish line at 80mph but still turn an 8 second elapsed time. [somehow I doubt it]

If just want higher end. Use your favorite brand programmer and program as tall a tire as it can. Sure your Speedo will be off. Use a gps to see your top speed. Now granted, that has the possibility of creating mayfly tires. But just engineering speaking it should work. I know the computer uses tire size to calculate speed.

I myself don’t recommend any modifications or speeding!
