Back in my active duty days on one of my deployments to Bahrain, the husband of one of my wife's friend asked me if I could bring him back some Cubans for him. He was one of the flight chiefs in the Security Forces squadron. We were flying via C-141 back to our home base and would be clearing customs there, which conveniently was performed by the Security Forces Squadron. Let's just say there were a select few who were predestined not to be chosen for bag searches upon arrival. I'm not a cigar aficionado, but I did like some nice scotch whiskeys that were easier/cheaper to get overseas. two bottle limit? not on that trip! I took care of him, he took care of me and my friends.

My sister in law's grandmother cans a tone of em when she makes them. Canned, as in Mason jars though. They don't taste the same, but they're still really good.
