About 15% driving under 30 MPH 50% at 65 MPH and 35% 35-45 MPH.
Have not towed with it yet and only hit the pedal hard 3X so far.

Just curious because I have heard many folks say that they have a higher than expected DEF usage. I think mine is unusually low...non-registering.

I believe that gray bar is showing 100% full. It is a weird color choice they used.

I first thought the very same thing. Then watched it over time and saw the gray area getting smaller.

The tank level gauge is notoriously wrong. It won’t start to move for a while if the dealer actually filled it all the way up. And sounds like you have a good dealer who filled it up.

Our's came with the standard 3/4 tank of DEF but we have definitely been burning it. Almost a 1/4 tank now in 1500 miles.

I'm at 6700 miles and just had to fill up the DEF tank for the second time. Not 100% sure if it was full from the dealer, but filled up at just over 3000, and now again today. I had read that should be about a tank of DEF every 10k, at this rate I'm 3x that

@cruzthepug What is your driving / commute type? (hwy miles vs city miles vs off-road)

Mainly just a weekend vehicle. Only a couple of off-road trips so far. I did a hunting trip to MO, 1300 mile round trip and have done a few day trips (about an hour each way). I live in the country so really don't have much "city" driving.

I’m a little over 15500 miles. I seems like the DEF usage has slowed down from the first few thousand miles. I haven’t officially tracked the usage but after 10000 I’ve hardly put any in. Maybe the cat breaks in or the NOx system is learning. Anyway, I love my eco diesel.

UPDATE on usage: 1st time adding DEF...just to see what my usage is. Presuming my dealer 100% (or close enough) filled the tank for delivery. Today at 3224 miles I added 2.234 gal DEF. Now that I know it is 100% full I can do more precise testing down the road.
