Hello,
I'm about to order a 2021 JLU Rubicon and I've been waffling back and forth between getting the Pentastar with the Rock-Track full-time option or sacrificing the full-time transfer case and getting the diesel. Although I'm currently a full-time Florida resident I will be taking the Jeep cross country to places such as Texas, Colorado, and Utah and hopefully, I'll be spending significant time in places with unpredictable weather. Looking for opinions and insights if you were buying a 2021 which one would you opt for and why? I'm coming from driving a 2017 Camaro SS and living in S. Florida for 20 years so my exposure to 4x4's and harsh weather is limited. I'm not sure of the correct way of using a part-time 4 wheel drive system in snow/rain etc. Is a part-time system usable in a hard rainstorm or snow on public/paved roads? Any help is appreciated.
