It is 40 degrees out here in Michigan. Time for 40s and to get the Jeep naked. No wheeling for the next three weeks. So get it opened up and do a thorough cleaning and detailing.

Watched a Fellow Jeeper video and he used this soft tubing to press into the fenders to stop the rocks from having to be picked out. Now I just take a breath and blow the little rocks out.

Much easier than picking out. They can't wedge down now.

Unless you know they are there you never notice. Simple but useful.

I gave it more rear visibility
FYI...

For those considering this.... do know that you can run into real issues attempting this, flip the mirror thing, in regard to your JL and JT.

It may not be doable with your particular JL/JT.

Lots of past forum posts, where guys posted they ended up having to have the dealership fix what they screwed up..

I’m switching to unpainted high line fenders and it seems that might hide these even better. So just look up Trim lok and that part number? Thanks

Yes, Trim-Lok Rubber Tubing Seal .276 size. Pulled right up. It's marked Prime Blue check so came overnight. Free Shipping.

Took the end of the kitchen tool and perfect size and firmness to wedge them down.

Simple and works.

I thought about doing this briefly, but as I looked at it on my JLU Sport S with auto dimming mirror, the mount on the mirror looked dead center, and I can't see how flipping mine would add any visibility at all. Am I missing something?

I too have recently added the rubber trim from Amazon to my Jeep fender/body areas.

Well I cursed Mid Michigan with one more snow storm. I got the Jeep naked today and put my mall crawler tires on. I have about month until the next wheeling trip before I will convert it back away from mall crawler

I'm 6'3" I did this to mine when I got it 2 years ago but this only works with the basic mirror. it improved visibility out the front and back for me. dimmer is not really usable anymore.

Where did you find those straps you have on the rear seat belts? Looks better than the cheap should pad seat belt covers I found at walmart.

Also... did you figure out a way to make the block off plate for the top wiring to be rotatable? Mine I have to undo the nut on the underside a bit so I can lift up and rotate the block off plate, then bolt it back down. Not a deal breaker for me, by any stretch of the imagination, but where that nut is located it's annoying and I keep thinking I could do something to make it better.
