Mine showed up this morning. I ordered on 1/2 and should see it at the main depot on 4/8. Hopefully at the dealer the following day but they're not sure.Any Sahara 4xe stickers up yet? If so, what order date?
So I note that this window sticker, like mine, says ālevel 2 charger cordā. Since thatās the fast 220 volt cord, will we be unable to charge our 4xeās until we get 220 volt chargers installed? The original 4xe ad lists a level 1 charging cord, slow charging but it plugs into an ordinary receptacle. Iām building a new home and wasnāt going to upgrade to 220v until thatās done. Anyone know anything about this change?Order placed on 29 Dec 20...now the wait begins for delivery!
All charge cords that plug into electric vehicles are level 2 regardless of whether they plug into a 110 volt "normal" house plug or a 220V receptacle. The cord that comes with the Jeep is for 110V and will plug into your normal wall outlet. So I note that this window sticker, like mine, says ālevel 2 charger cordā. Thanks for the info. I was afraid I was going to spend the next 8 months running only on gasoline. All charge cords that plug into electric vehicles are level 2 regardless of whether they plug into a 110 volt "normal" house plug or a 220V receptacle. I would be shocked if 120v wasnt also included. If it's like my Tesla and BMW i3, it'll be level 1 and level 2 swappable with a couple of different connectors in the bag.So I note that this window sticker, like mine, says ālevel 2 charger cordā. I hadn't even noticed that. Good eye.First time hearing that there is a 10-year / 100,000 miles warranty on the Hybrid system and battery
"Shocked" hehehI would be shocked if 120v wasnt also included. If it's like my Tesla and BMW i3, it'll be level 1 and level 2 swappable with a couple of different connectors in the bag.
So any 220vac receptacle will work? I thought you had to buy a "brain" to go on the garage wall too.All charge cords that plug into electric vehicles are level 2 regardless of whether they plug into a 110 volt "normal" house plug or a 220V receptacle. My statement is misleading. Yes, you need a "brain" to go on the wall that plugs into the 220V receptacle. Some of them are more portable and do not hand on the wall, such as the travel charger supplied with the vehicle that plugs into 110V.So any 220vac receptacle will work?
