Careful, when you remove that black panel on the inside of the tail gate. It is really easy to have one of the green retaining clips fall into the hole that holds the clip on the tail gate itself. The green clips can be hard to buy/find..

Part number for the green clip is Mopar 0651 1829 AA (they cost about $.66 each)
They come in packs of 5 and part # for the 5 pack, is Mopar 0651 1829 AA - 005

This piece/part is a Tailgate Exhauster Mopar 68323649AB . Retails for about $8.00.

Tail gate flapping noise after it was repainted hinges and tail gate started giving flapping noise If I crack the window, the pressure changes and the annoying noise stops. The flaps remain closed unless I turn vehicle and pressure chances or I hit some sizable bumps.

With the windows up, and the AC off, there is still some positive pressure but not enough to hold the vents open continuously so this increases the flapping sounds.
If I run the AC wide open, the vents stay open and the sound is gone.
