Here she is, finally in my JLU Sahara! In love is an understatement!

Congrats! We were between the Sahara and the Willys in Nacho but went for the Willys mostly due to cost.

Can't wait to see it. Have you decided on tires and wheels?
I am planning to stick with the OEM Rubicon wheels for the near term. I may swap out tires for 35s but we will see. Probably will end up leaving tires, suspension, possibly wheels, for my phase 2.

Word of advice, if you fully outfit the front AEV bumper with lights and a winch it is too much weight for the factory springs to handle. I have a Zeon 12-S winch and AEV 7000 series lights on mine and the added weight is making the front sag really bad. Even the bumpers without the added goodies are heavy. I knew this going in, but didn't plan on waiting this long to do the suspension.

Thanks Wraith, this is really good to know. I opted for winch delete for time being even though I eventually want to get one. Based on what you are saying though, I will have to certainly consider front spacers when I do suspension install down the road.

Stopped by the dealer we ordered from in RI to see the Jeeps just now and spotted this Nacho Willys. Ours will look identical but have the hardtop. ETA is this week, we can’t wait.

I know the GM here, grew up around the corner in Exeter. We have a small place in RI we’ve been spending more time at since work from home. I’m sure NYC will open up again next year and we won’t be here as much.

Ha, no kidding. I grew up in North Kingstown. We probably went to the same high school depending on if you pre date Exeter getting their own high school.
