80 miles and it looks like the front output shaft seal is leaking.side note: Yokahama G003 M/T is the quietest M/T I’ve ever driven on. Quieter than BFg at ko.

Man, the list of issues sure is creative with JLs.

Drive to the dealer sometime and have them replace it. Maybe this is why the MSRP was hiked--paying for warranty work!

Btw that's a great looking JLU. Base Sport since it doesn't have tint? Throw half doors on that bad boy one day :)

Update: trans cooler leaking, blowing on transfer case, at dealer now. I did not know this tranny fluid was not pink.

There was another thread about a leak. The OP wasn't sure if it was just condensation from A/C or coolant. The dealer claimed it was a defective heater core and replaced it. The OP was still seeing leaks on the ground.

So you were leaking coolant from the tranny cooler, not actual tranny fluid?

I guess it would be helpful to know the colors of coolant vs tranny fluid. Is the coolant yellow or green?

What size tires do you have on your stock steel wheels? Did they bolt up without any modification? Any rubbing at stock height? Any problem with the tire carrier?

Love the tan seats! That's a great looking Sport.

Trans cooler was leaking transmission fluid, not coolant.

Not sure how to reply directly to a question asked about tires, but the answer is:
295/70/17 no issues with carrier or rubbing but I assume they will rub off-road. Will find out Saturday, dealer has part on the way.

Fluid is green. 8 trips to the dealer with my last leaking 2017 RAM. This thread is giving me bad flash backs.

The dealer has been helpful.
I asked a Jeep Cares agent to overnight the trans cooler yesterday, they could/would NOT. I asked another agent today who sounded fed up with dealing with dissatisfied Jeep owners and was much less helpful, but still declined to overnight the trans cooler. I will miss another wheelin trip this weekend. I even offered to pay the shipping for the part, 3-5 days is the answer I kept getting. I loved my 78 CJ-5, but do not like Fiat Chrysler’s product quality or customer service so far. It’s too late to hit Dirty Turtle Birthday Bash this weekend (check it out), but would talk to a Jeep rep that cares who wants to do something to take the pain away. I would PM, but don’t know how.

I discovered a transmission leak the third day I had my JL. It's been fixed, but shifting seems off from time to time (auto transmission)

Final update: leaking transmission cooler was replaced, all is good.

The dealership,Craig and Landreth and Cecylia at Jeep Cares both went above and beyond to get it fixed.

I want to thank both of them for the great customer service. I am a very happy Jeep Customer now.
