Thanks for posting! I never thought 33 on the 4 door looked bad. I think the effect is exaggerated ont he 2 doors. I love how clean your build is with the white and the debadging, subtle but classy

I love the look. I get a lot of compliments. I do off road a far amount and never hit axel. Most I scrape is dead center go Over a steep ridge.

With the Mopar lift did you add any other components to help compliment it like track bar for front, etc.

Also did you need spacers to run the stock rims on 33s? In this pic those are 33s right?

I really dig this pizza cutter look. I hadn't ever considered that size.
Thanks, that's the look I was going for. Although I think I should have went for Kenda's 35x10.50r17.
Maybe I'll do that when I have to replace my currant tires. Here is a pick of my 2004 TJ se with the pizza cutter look.

To each their own, but I'm totally fine with my decision for how I use my JL. 90% daily driver, 10% weekend warrior.
2" Mopar lift, 33" BFG KO2s and 1.75" spacers.
I had already spent the money and had the stuff installed thinking a 2" lift and 1" bigger tire would get me 3". Nope. Got 5" all around, exactly. I'd possibly go with 34" when these wear out, but at least I know 35"s will fit easily...
No matter what, haters gonna hate! Peace

How you liking this ride so far with mopar and spacers? You still running on it? How are those fox shocks holding up so far? Also I found a mopar lift for $600, is this a good deal, the guy had them on his lease jlu sport for a year, all highway miles he claims, the parts look almost new, should I get them? Our jeeps are 4 door with v6 auto

285/70/17 with 2” mopar lift. Looks awesome and doesn’t affect road manners. Plenty capable off road

I like thissss! Whats the offset on that rim? Also did you regear? Are you still running this kit? Did you add any other parts to the kit at the time of install?

Hey how does that thing do towing behind the RV?
Any difference when you upsized??
I currently tow my 2dr JLR with 35s and it does just fine behind a Navion; (same bumper as you) and
I'm about to spring for 37s .

Other than having to buy a raised receiver to keep the tow bar level, haven't noticed any difference.

Ahhh. I thought I thought of everything but I omitted the (thankfully minor $) raised receiver issue ha ha.

Did you re-gear for the 37’s. I’m coming off 35s and being told i will be fine moving up to 37s with the stock Rubicon gears ?

I'm currently running BFG TA KO2s in 285/70/17. As much as I want to buy some new 35's, I'm hesitant to do so for several reasons:
-just bought new 33's for my JKU that I just traded for my JLU (was able to keep them and had JL stock tires placed on my traded JKU). Don't need an extra expense.
-been down that 35 road before with a previous JKU and dealt with the shortcomings of 35's (harsher ride, decreased fuel economy, etc) and don't want to be in that same boat again so to speak.

So show me your rigs with 33's on the Mopar 2" lift. I've seen plenty of pics of 35's & 37's on the Mopar lift but so far only 1 with 33's. Trying hard to be financially responsible and smart about this decision.
Thanks in advance.
