So is the reasoning behind using 2dr shocks on a 4dr is because they are not valved to withstand the heavier weight of a 4dr, thus providing a little bit softer ride?

I am eyeballing the SP2s when I finally get around to installing a lift.
Pretty much yes

I have a set of 3.3 SP2 arriving Friday. I plan to install them this weekend. Currently running the regular 3.3s, I'll let you know how they compare.
what's the difference between the two? I just ordered the TeraFlex 2.5 ST2 lift kit with the 3.3 fast adjust Falcon shocks. I also ordered the Falcon Nexus 2.2 adjustable steering stabilizer.

I just called TeraFlex and they told me the difference. I'm glad I saw your post. I then called Lifts Kits for Less who had already given me a really good deal on the lift kit. A salesman named Tim kindly changed my order. There was a 100.00 difference in the kit with new 3.3 SP2 Falcon shocks. When I was ready to pay Tim told me, Happy Black Friday and didn't charge me anything. WOW, that was very nice.

Any updates on those running the 2dr SP2s on a 4 door? How’s the ride, I’m looking to pull the trigger on these as well but don’t want the stiff ride I have felt on others with Falcons installed. Looking to reduce the floaty feeling of the factory ones without sacrificing to much on highway everyday comfort.

Bringing up an old thread, but also wanted to know if anyone has had a better ride from the SP2 3.3 with quick adjust compared to the original 3.3s.
Thanks!! đź‘Ť

Just doing a follow up here.
I ended up getting the Falcon SP2 3.3 adjustable shocks. They are fantastic. I have all 4 shocks set in the soft setting. The rear are in position 1 and I run the fronts in either 1 or 2.1, depends how I feel that day or what type of surface I’m on.
I haven’t been high speed on off-road yet so I can’t say how the shocks are off-road in one of the more firm settings.

It’s noticeably better. I think falcon says 25% softer across the board in SP2.
thanks buddy, I am beginning to lean on the Falcons more now but between the 2.1 SP2 or the 3.3 adjustable

just concerned with my local Jeep dealer saying the suspension warranty will be void from them but I guess I’lol have the Falcon warranty which is two years

What part of the suspension do you think is going to break due to new shocks?

the problem with them hassling you about suspension warranty is the only way to make the mopar lift work right you need to add adjustable track bars and at least LCAs which will create the same problem. Get a good suspension and don’t worry about the dealer.

Oh I don't but the Dealer says if I do the lift outside of the main Dealer then parts of the Warranty will not longer be valid as I am doing the lift from another off road specialist in Wranglers (main supplier of Falcons here).

Agreed, plus the Main Dealer (Jeep) are charging double the cost for the same product.
