How Far does -12 Offset actually stick out from the fender well?

Metalcloak lifts are one of the most flexible mid arm systems out there. Because of that, they include shock relocation brackets that move them outwards to clear the frame at full wheel droop. You're best off with a backspace no bigger than 4.5".

I've got the 3.5" Gamechanger, and 38x13.5 Pat's with 17x9 wheels with 4.53" of backspace and a -12 offset.

That pic was an earlier one, before I started really dialing it in. The front tire was about 41" off the ground in that pic, but I've since gotten nearly 6 more inches of height out of the lift.

I still had the full set of Synergy's control arms, from my 1st lift, which aren't designed for a lot of flex. Also, the 38's were contacting the rear body pinch seam a couple of inches before the wheel was fully stuffed into the bump stops. I now have all Metalcloak arms and I shortened the rear arms to minimize hitting the body. I still need to trim the seams to get the last inch or so of travel.
