I’ve been looking at the fuel beasts and they only come in -12 and +1. I’d love a +12 but as far as I can tell they don’t have them. What did you find?
If you want 8.5" width +12mm offset, look at quadratec wheels in these models: 41, recon, hardrock. I dont work for them

Sorry to change subject a little. So, I did some searching and couldn’t find the answer. Maybe I’m stupid. Anyway, the wheel I want is a 20x10 -18 offset. Will a 35x12.50 rub at full turn? No lift on a 19 Rubicon. If so, could I do a 11 or 11.50 wide tire to make the difference? I’m going to be running Ridge Grapplers.

I need a little help understanding:
I get that a -12 offset will push the wheel out further past the fender. Why would you want to get a positive offset rim? Why not just leave it stock? Is it because you went with a wider tire?

My wife is looking to go with a wider tire for the purpose of it sticking out more. I am getting the impression that a 285 tire on a stock Rubi rim will come past the fender a little bit. Any pics around with that scenario?

Also she would like to go 35" on the stock Rubi rim. What is the widest tire at both 33" and 35" that can go on the stock rim? Thanks in advance for your help.
disclaimer.. I'm a JK guy but in general this applies to the JL just the same.

The offset is not offset from stock wheel, it's the offset from the centerline of the rim. I believe offset on a stock rim is 44.5 so anything less will push the wheel out which is required to prevent larger tires from rubbing. I'm not sure what sizes tires will rub on a JL with what backspacing but it's possible to put 33s and 35s on the stock rims though I personally don't like the look when going to a 35s. Most go with a 17x9 wheel where the stock rims are 17x7.5

Fuel Beasts were one of the -12 offset wheels I was looking at, Ultimately I went with Vision Se7ens out of the +12 offset wheels I was looking at

I didn't like the stock Sport wheel.

Did you run into any issues with rubbing or clearance problems with the Quadratec wheels with the +10 (5.2 inch backspacing)? During full articulation or turning. I really like the Morphic wheels, but not sure if I need to go 4.9 backspacing, 4.75 or what.
Going to install Metalcloak 2.5 inch game changer and run 37x12.50 r17 Milestar Patagonia MT

I think Metalcloak recommends 4.5 or less for the gamechanger. I was just running a 2” mopar lift in that photo and I only had minor rubbing in the rear fender liner.

Metalcloak lifts are one of the most flexible mid arm systems out there. Because of that, they include shock relocation brackets that move them outwards to clear the frame at full wheel droop. You're best off with a backspace no bigger than 4.5".

I've got the 3.5" Gamechanger, and 38x13.5 Pat's with 17x9 wheels with 4.53" of backspace and a -12 offset.

That is an awesome set up and appears to flex like crazy. If I go with 8.5 inch wheels the offset / backspacing can be just slightly different from the 4.5 inches of backspacing it would seem. I thought about the Teraflex Nomads, but haven't committed to anything just yet.

That pic was an earlier one, before I started really dialing it in. The front tire was about 41" off the ground in that pic, but I've since gotten nearly 6 more inches of height out of the lift.

Thanks buddy!
