You could say NC is a different country from where we live in MD lol (walking distance to DC beltway)

I want to register all our vehicles in NC as soon as possible. Everything is cheaper including insurance.

They often get better reception than cellular. I still use one during oncaw to ensure I have two signals heading my way.

I haven't had or seen one since the mid 90's, had no idea that folks are still using them. I turned my bag phone and pager in at around the same time...

Purchased at Ourisman in Clarksville, MD. Nice sales folks but the shop gave up quickly. I was not impressed with their service department, at all.

DarCars Silver Spring, MD. This was closest to me but last time they had it they trashed it. They kept my Jeep for DAYS longer than promised. I couldn't reach them because the call center is up north and no one would return my calls. I had to drive over there to check on it and couldn't get a straight answer even with Jim with me. They tore up the driver side tires against the curb, left a big, long gouge in the rear right fender, gave me a smoke filled loaner van, and broke the LEGO Jeep model in the dash that my friend built for me.

Fred Frederick in Laurel was THE BEST!!!! They were the ones who replaced the radio and where the Jeep was towed to multiple times. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the area. They were worth the drive. Respectable, trustworthy, caring family owned business. If we were staying in MD, that is the ONLY dealership I would consider for my next Jeep.

I could tell you some inside crap about DARCARs. Never trusted that Iranian a-hole and he still owes me about $3K, but that's for another day. Ourisman is another megadealer where it's more about butts in seats than quality of service like a smaller dealer, like Fred Frederick. Though I know nothing about their Clarksville dealership in particular. Thanks for your input! Hope you have much better luck in NC!

I'm only a lawbreaker on V. She's never had a front plate. It's in the trunk if I ever "need" it.
