Now can’t decide between the Toyo OC A/T3 or Nitto Ridge Grapplers in a 315/70R17. Will be used mostly for street driving with the occasional off roading. Any opinions or recommendations? Rod noise is a factor.
Don't know about the Toyos but I have the Ridge Grapplers in the same size for about 15k miles so far. Great offroad, great wet traction and minimal road noise. Have not tested them in mud or snow. Also not wearing too fast. I run them at 28 psi. I'm very happy with them.

I installed two pairs of LASFIT LED bulbs on the Jeep: Brake/tail, and reverse. They are well and truly brighter than the incandescent votive candles that they replaced.

3157 Red
7443 White

The salty pricing for the brake/tail bulbs in particular is a consequence of the need for integrated CANBUS functionality, as many of you are already aware. Lower cost alternatives, like the Sylvania ZEVO LED bulbs that I like and use in other applications, would cause error messages and/or hyperflash when installed in isolation.

Another example of pay to play.

What was the turn around time on receiving your bumper? I ordered the same one two weeks ago and haven’t heard anything yet.
Yeah, they're pretty busy. It took about 3 weeks for my bumper and winch to ship. FedEx totally borked my shipment though, sending it to random places around the country, which added another 1 1/2 weeks. RH was great about it, staying on top of FedEx and even refunded my shipping costs even though FedEx didn't refund them.

Well finally got the King steering stabilizer in the mail the other day, which was back ordered for like 3 months. I just installed it, took about 30 minutes. It would be nice if the rest of parts I ordered last year would come in.

Careful running that beauty down there. In harm's way for sure. Smashed my stock one down there. Thus the reason I ordered (finally received) and just installed my new King along with the SteerSmarts relocation bits. Crappy pic, but here it is..

I was annoyed by the creaking driver door. So I attempted a fix and it eliminated a most of it but it's not a permanent fix. That's what the all thread and coupling nuts are. I decided to throw some deadener on the front two doors. As you can see that turned into all 4 doors. They all sound solid and not paper thin anymore. Sorry the pics arent in order. I've had every door panel and inner panel out at least twice. All in all took about 3 hours. Made templates and after that it was a breeze. Note that factory deadener isn't perfectly aligned on each door. So you can't make templates for all the small pieces. Just the bottom of the door where its bare.

I saw somewhere, someone said you can't put deadener on the outside of the door skin. Something about it would contact the window.... Obviously no experience. Every window clears easily. Plenty of room.

Also, anyone contemplating. It's straight forward, but be patient. Take your time on the first door and get a feel for it. If anyone has any questions, pm me.

Bought one of those 400.00 knockoff steel bumpers off Amazon and installed. Surprised at the quality. Came with fog lights, winch plate, and bull bar. Bought another one for the wife's too.

I have the Ridge grapplers and they are fairly quiet. I really wanted the At3’s but we can’t get them in Canada yet. Not too bad on snow but not great on ice although you shouldn’t need to worry about that part too much!

Got my Clayton Off-Road 2.5 overland lift installed. Cannot find the wheels to run with 37 so am holding out with stock wheels with1.5 spacers till I pick what I want. Current tires are 275/70/18 Goodyear wrangler Ultra Terrains. Clayton says 4.75 back spacing for their lifts. I also just had the steering TSB done. Now this thing drives VERY NICE. I have the shocks currently set on the Soft SP2 mode and soft 1 on the upper adjustment.

Looks good - do you feel the Falcons are too stiff?

All the guys I know with them are either moving to other shocks, or have moved already. But someone said the newer ones are valved much better?

JL MADDOG, Do they still have a SAC?
No. In 1992, as part of an overall post-Cold War reorganization of the U.S. Air Force, SAC was disestablished as both a Specified Command and as a Major Command. Assets & personnel were re-distributed to other commands.
