truck or Jeep

So I was wondering what one would say in this Scenario:
Your at a work related conference (Pre Covid-19 of course). Your work mates want to go to one of the local breweries after the conference. You and the team decide on a brewery while huddling in front of the hotel. You offer to drive.

Do you say:
I'll bring the "truck" around

I'll bring the "Jeep" around

have at it...!

Given that its a JLU I would just say Jeep.

And then everyone standing there goes "Ohhhh, he's got a Ferrari".

A jeep is not a truck, or a standard suv. If you say jeep, everyone pictures a Wrangler. If you say truck they picture a standard pickup, F-150, silverado, or ram. Now if it's a gladiator you could get away with either, but I'd likely still just call it a jeep. Now if we are going to a brewery I'd likely say "the Uber is on it's way".

If it was a Trackhawk maybe... Jeep just doesn't have the same bragging rights as a Bently or Ferrari lol.

Jeep. Calling a small SUV with no bed a "Truck" makes no sense to me.

All the more reason to differentiate, if I call the jeep a truck how do you know which vehicle I'm bringing?

This is why I'm leaning towards the JT.......I get my Jeep and truck for the price of one! win win!!!

Unless you're driving a Gladiator, it's a "Jeep". Of course, the Gladiator can use either. Wrangler's don't have a truck bed, they're more like a convertible SUV, but distinct so they get their own category.
