We have similar group here on Long Island also (forgot what they are called but I have heard of them help people out in Snowstorms and other natural disasters like Flooding after Thunderstorms or Tropical Storms). They a mixed group of folks in Wranglers (TJ, JKs and JLs), Cherokees, 4Runners and older gen Pathfinders/Explorers. Very nice and knowledgeable group. A lot of them are actually retired cops, firefighters and even doctors.

I’m part of the Clarksville jeep crew a lot of ours is military with the 101st we love doing this we don’t mind if you need a ride to work or are stuck we will be there.
