Funny how you get people complaining about all the nanny systems in the new vehicles then criticize somebody that wants to remove the nannies.

Some people still like to have control over their vehicle functions as opposed to simply holding the steering wheel.

Some people still want battery ignition and carburetors.

Not planning on keeping the stock axles so would most likely get a clutch style lsd
Youā€™re ditching which stock axles to get an aftermarket axle with a clutch-style LSD? Why would you do that? What do you have in your Jeep now? There are a lot of unanswered questions...

You might re- think this when new vehicles come out with the federally mandated surveillance systems that monitor the interior of the vehicle. Ford has no less than 6 cameras trained on the driver, and is partnering with Google for Data Hoovering.
The information gathered is far more valuable than the price of the vehicle, and it's all free to them.

You've taken my position on ABS and wrongfully extended it to a completely different topic, with different concerns.

And six pieces of tape covering the cameras will solve that little problem

...Or disabling any internet connectivity. WTF does anyone need with internet connection while driving. 40K people die in auto accidents in the US every year. Driving should be the utmost and only priority when driving.

Abs increases the distance to stop in a situation where you need to stop right now, Iā€™ve almost been in a few accident caused by abs
That is 100% false in every test ever run on braking. At low speed there's virtually no difference in stopping distance. The higher the speed the bigger the gap in stopping distance, always in favor of the ABS equipped vehicle.

The tazer mini allows you to turn off the abs, traction control, and stability control. Guess Iā€™ll start there

You should sell your Jeep and buying a nice restored CJ7. It will save you some money and get the full control.

I have the tazer and use it off road. Holding down the TC button for 5 seconds disables everything until the vehicle is restarted. Works great when you want it. Would never even consider turning off all assists for daily driving though....

I'm just wondering if your're locking up the brakes so much where ABS is a issue maybe something else is going on. Do you follow too close? Drive faster than safe? Maybe just live in village of drunk people?
