Looks like the "state of charge" indicator light cluster is going to make the 4xe incompatible with many of the phone/device mounting options like the 67 designs rail, E-Dock, etc...
Looks like the whole tray design is different - I bet there's still screws underneath the mat but they'll absolutely have to come up with a different mounting plate.
The state of charge lights only operate while the vehicle is in the process of being charged, not while drivingWill those blinding dash lights be on while driving?
Obviously that depends on how much you charge it. But you should be able to check your electric bill and see how much each kilowatt hour costs you. The 4xe should take 15-16 kilowatt hours to charge from empty.I’m wondering what the monthly electric bill increases are like with one of these.
For mine it will be zero. My house is 100% off grid so I don't have to pay the power company, I am the power company.I’m wondering what the monthly electric bill increases are like with one of these.
Doing the math, about $3 per charge. I would likely need to charge it 3-4 days per week.Obviously that depends on how much you charge it. But you should be able to check your electric bill and see how much each kilowatt hour costs you. The 4xe should take 15-16 kilowatt hours to charge from empty.
We will have an edock that will work with the 4xE dash. Should be available in about 3-4 weeks. It will be listed on our new product page, as well as the JL product page. 4XE-Dock.Looks like the "state of charge" indicator light cluster is going to make the 4xe incompatible with many of the phone/device mounting options like the 67 designs rail, E-Dock, etc...
