Hi, can anyone tell me if you can use the Top Lift Pro with an alien sunshade in place or would you have to remove the shade?

Should work no problem. The TLP doesn’t go in any further than back rollbar

Can the TLP be used and work with the added height from a JL with a 2” lift and 37” tires?

Thanks!

Yes. You can adjust as needed for lifted rigs

How difficult and how much time does it take to disassemble the TLP for storage?

One way I plan to use it is to take my top off, use a hoist to lower it to a cart for storage, then I need to store the TLP.
The Rollnjack seems easier to disassemble and store, but I like the fact that the back window can close with the TLP, in case I want to store the top above the Jeep.

Never disassembled. Leave together, raised up and pushed up against wall in front of Jeep. Takes no room

Complete disassembly will take a bit of time, but it breaks into 2 pieces super easily. The top half rests on the bottom

As Rick said in post #82, it takes up no room. Just drive right underneath it.

I'm wanting to store the lift in a different location when I'm not using it, so would like the dimensions and I may need to take it apart for storage. I would also need to get it through a doorway.

They sent me the dimensions.

Dimensions are:

Base 43.25 deep X 37.25 wide

Height 64.5" lowest with and 18” up-swing to 83-84”

The TopLift Pro is built to last and is made sturdy with heavy duty metal.

At 137lbs it built to last a lifetime.

I have used mine several times over the last 3 years and I love it, even my wife could take the top off by herself and when not in use I store it right in front of my jeep for the winter.

Advice on the powered version? Worth the extra bucks?

Well worth it makes it a lot easier to operate and not having to push down on the bar anymore.
