New UK owner

First Jeep, having had a Defender 90 and Gen 4 Jimny previously, and loving it.

Owned it since Sep 2020 and I've had the following done, all care of Alex and the team at Buzz Special Vehicles.
-AEV 2.5” Dualsport suspension
-AEV Salta Wheels
-BFG KM3 35/12.50 R17
-Rugged Ridge Tyre Carrier
-Tazer Jl with front camera

Looking forward to doing some longer trips later this year, when permitted, both in the UK and Europe.

Looks great! How do the AEV Salta wheels fit? AEV says that the Saltas are made for the JK (they have about 15mm more offset than the AEV JL wheels), not JL but a lot of people, including me, want to put them on their JL. Can you post a picture of the backup camera. Thanks and enjoy your Jeep.

The Salta's fit fine, other than the spare, they just stick out a bit further so you get a wider stance which isn't a bad thing in my opinion.
So I had the Rugged Ridge HD tyre carrier fitted to handle the extra weight and the bore of the Salta is too narrow to fit the backup camera cover so I cut the cover off the OEM carrier(pic 2) and sanded off the sharp edges. It actually fits well(pic 1) with just friction however for safety I fed a zip tie through just in case it works free.
I don't think the Salta's would fit the OEM carrier I'm afraid.

So far this is the only rim that I like and looks like AEV doesn't have the JL version coming anytime soon... I'm tempted to go this route but still not sure about the back camera set up, while you made it sound easy but do you have more pictures, or did you make a video? With the +10mm how much do the tires stick out? TIA

Very nice, I bet you're pleased with it, just a shame we can't do much at the moment. I do like the Venator bumper, so much better than stock.

Ride is better as far as I'm concerned. AEV kit provides a slightly "sportier" ride in that it's a bit stiffer than stock. The wallow and body roll that you get as standard (although not much for a Jeep ) is now gone.

Wheels are 17" instead of the standard 18s we get and the tyres are 35s (BFG KO2)
It's a daily driver so I think this gives me the best of both worlds!

I guess the photos make the poke look bigger than it is in reality. They barely stick out past the fenders!
