So I ordered a 2021 JL Rubicon on November 24th - Sarge Green, LED package, Hard Top, and 6 speed manual. Jeep chat said it was finished in assembly on December 11th, and had passed inspection on the 12th! Now my dealer is telling me that it is scheduled to be in Selkirk NY on the 23rd!!!!! Needless to say, I am beyond excited!!!! That seems like a very quick build for a custom order. But don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining! Lol!

Wow! Just in time for Christmas! We will surely love photos, please!

Congrats! What dealer did you use? I'm on Long Island.

General question, do any features, manual transition, colors, etc effect wait time? Or same wait time no matter what? For example a silver JLUS auto vs a 2 door willys manual, same wait time if ordered at same time?

My understanding is that parts availability can definitely have an effect on wait time. My dealer said that there really is no rhyme or reason to the time a build takes. Jeep Chat said the same thing. As a general rule, they tell customers 6-8 weeks.

I used Adirondack Auto in Elizabethtown NY. Great people!

Ok cool thanks! Good deals? I'm looking at a 2 door manual figure both are pretty rare so may take a bit longer.

Looking forward to seeing it. Be glad your wait is short. Many of us here waited 5 months or so for our 2018's.

Many of us in this group never saw a JL in the wild as we waited and our projected build dates came and went for our 2018 JL's. Even getting told it was ready to ship from the FCA hotline only to find it was not so.

Sorry for late reply Mike! Still have them! As you may remember, it was quite an adventure as one of the body bolts broke and I had quite a time finding someone who could replace it. But all’s well, and I still love them.

Well, work crazy (hospital). Doing ok, but just found out I was exposed to Covid with a couple of patients... so, work taking a lot of time.
Looking forward to Troy NC Jeep event I think late summer, can’t remember. This lar year har been a flop in many ways. Hope we will be better in 2021.

Curry, it’s already February 1st. I know you’ve been having fun with your Jeep, but I would love some photos of your sarge green! No doubt you must have some awesome snow photos!
