Now if I could just talk everyone into hating several of my favorites so they are easily found I would be all set! That's the great thing about Bourbon. Everyone has different tastes.
Trust me I am with you. I live in the heart of Bourbon country and it is really hard to get things at MSRP. You can always pay way over. Now if I could just talk everyone into hating several of my favorites so they are easily found I would be all set!

I know nothing about it but I do like that Willet and Old Forester in the pic. Those are good. This may be a good place to ask if anyone has an opinion on this Parker’s release. I have a bottle being offered to me, just have never tried it.
Laphroaig 10 is my favorite Islay Scotch whisky; Lagavulin 16 and Ardbeg 10 are also quite peaty and quite good (and hail from the same area on Islay).
Currently one of my Favorites for sure!Great thread.
I don’t daily drink since I quit smoking but somehow I keep buying bottles. I have some opinions on bourbon that some won’t agree with but that’s ok.
Blanton’s is highly overrated and bland. No finish, no complexity in the flavor profile.
I don’t understand the hype or following of Eagle Rare or Buffalo Trace. Neither of them are worth picking up for me, I always pass on them unless a friend is trying to find a bottle and I see one.
Weller 12 is my least favorite Weller.
With all that said back when I did daily Rare Breed was always a favorite, and I did have a good run finding 12 year Knob Creek consistently. Pics of a few recent bottles as well.
