My one issue is the removal of the covers on the USB and AC Power on the dash. Those are their to prevent water and mud from entering and shorting them out.
Fair point. Snap on cover?

I can pretty much live with everything on this JL but the one thing that really gets me going is the fact that when it rains and I open the door my leg gets soaked every fucking time.
Personally, I'd rather a windshield that didn't fold forward. There's plenty of history that's been carried over the generations, so seeing an end to that one little thing wouldn't leave me crying myself to sleep. Plus, it looked and functioned much better on the original, which had a thinner and flat panel. It almost completely disappeared when folded forward, whereas the thicker curved panel looks kinda off and blocks ones view.

Choice of several final drive ratios as a no (or low) cost option.

I totally agree.. it seems gimmicky to me.. I have never seen anybody lower their windshield while off-roading, desert running or the beach.. it could lower the cost... and still make the frame strong without the added weight..

And it doesn’t change the look. The profile remains due to the roll bar.

Yeah, I prefer the windshield eating mud and bugs. I bring a sandwich, so I'm good.

Yea, I'm tempted to try it this summer when I do some ambling oversand driving, but anything faster just seems like it would hurt my face lol

1. Offer 5.7 V8 (plenty upgrade for me)
2. Offer solid or removable full HT like my old TJ.
3. Xenon Headlights should be standard (safety issue)
4. Offer a third stereo system that performs better than the Alpine.
5. Offer a performance pkg that also reduces height about 3” for those who don’t go off road.
6. Offer V6 without Etorque for those who don’t want it!
7 - 10. Repeat as above, lol..

Cheers all/B

I do wish 5th and 6th weren’t basically overdrive gears. It is more like a 4 speed with two overdrives.
