Good morning everyone. I was MIA since school started back and then last on the 9th, we had to put or dog of 14 years down. As of now we may have a new puppy around end of February or beginning of March. Hope you all have a great day.

Yes it does. We had to put our 19 year old cat down this past July because of cancer. In six months we went from three cats and one dog to two cats.

The snakes stay in their enclosure unless it is feeding time (don't want them associating opening the doors with feeding so we remove them to feed)...

This is a 55" tall, by 45" wide, by 24" deep box that was in the house when I moved in. I lined it with FRP (like you would use on bathroom walls) and made plexiglass doors for it. We have a heater inside and pump steam in once per day for humidity control. They seem quite content in their little habitat.

Sounds pretty comfortable to me! I like the warm weather.

Yes. There is a fuse you can swap to make it work either way, the fuse # is listed in the manual somewhere.

We were mourning the loss of our 12+ year old kitty over Christmas. He disappeared before Thanksgiving. We had canvassed the neighborhood and surrounding areas, gone to all pet rescue websites, called and visited the local humane society...


Then last Sunday he showed back up, healthy and happy.

Sounds pretty comfortable to me! I like the warm weather.

Temp is maintained at 82-85F, humidity can get oppressive when the steamer kicks on but probably averages around 75-80%. I wouldn't want to spend too much time in there myself...

Probably a little more humid than I'm used to but not by much, lol.

Edit: Average 65% in the summer here... just looked it up.
