Added Quadratec flashlight holder for under driver seat... Moved maglite there... Then added Element 100 fire extinguisher on the roll bar mount.

Did you notice any new noises with the high mount? Rattles, wind noise? things like that?

I have not. It seams to be quiet.

I like them. Very happy with them. I have the later version with the better rust-resistant coating after all of the early rust issues. Mine have held up great. I swapped out the white LEDs for amber LEDs. They keep a decent amount of sand and mud off the doors, but I don’t do any hard trails so I can’t speak to how well they’ll protect the Jeep if it slides into a tree or rock.

Tuffy centre console lockbox.

Assembled loosely:

You have to remove the rubber mat from the bottom. This is with the side brace in - you see the USB is still 100% accessible:

This was the most important thing for me.

When I get in my jeep, I lift the top of the console and plug my phone into the cable for CarPlay. So I needed to be able to keep that USB port open and the cable running up easily.

The Tuffy has slots to run your cable up, and also to tuck the USB cable away and out of site... You'll see in a minute.

So I've put the box in, loosely. You can see the bracket against the sidewall, and the USB port.

Yes - the bolt is upside down. This is per the instructions for clearance - you fix this later...

This is with the box fully installed. I have my USB cable plugged in and tucked away in the provided space. You might need to velcro or bunch your cable to get it to stay depending on length.

There are slots in the box at the top to run your USB cable up and out of the box

*YOU MUST HAVE YOUR USB CABLE WIRED THROUGH BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE BOX COMPLETELY*

If you don't - there's no way to get a cable through

I then run it up to the top level for my phone

This is where my phone goes - I have an iPhone SE so it just drops in diagonally

Just ordered a set of Dynatrac ball joints and front RCV axle shafts. I forgot to include the $12 installation kit, so back to Northridge I went. I wasn't at the $70 minimum for free shipping so, to save that $9.99, I added an $85 Warn power interrupt solenoid. While being fiscally responsible, I took notice of the wife looking at me with suspicious eyes, so I left the Adam's 1350 rear driveshaft and Borla touring climber cat-back in my wishlist... for now. She never stays up as late as me. Muahaha!
